Description
I chose to practice medicine and become a nurse practitioner because it lets me treat all age groups. It also lets me perform community outreach. In my specialty, I enjoy patient education the most. I love being able to teach patients what they can do to help prevent common illnesses as well as how to reverse some of those illnesses. The most gratifying part of practicing medicine for me is just being able to see patients improve and get better.
